Compound inequalities
Life rarely hands you one condition at a time: a ride needs a height between two limits, a flight leaves inside a time window. Compound inequalities handle two conditions at once, joined by "and" or by "or".
In this topic
- Two conditions, one variable
- "And" means overlap
- "Or" means union
- The three-part shorthand
- Worked example: solving a chain
- Worked example: an "or" compound
- Worked example: a height requirement
- Common mistakes to avoid
- Key takeaways
