Privacy Notice
The short version: by default, your study data never leaves your browser. We designed Wuanberri so we can't see most of it even if we wanted to.
What stays on your device
In the default (local) mode, everything lives in your browser's local storage: your account email and password hash, placement results, review history, streaks, decks, and study-plan data. Clearing your browser storage deletes it permanently — there is no server copy.
Your AI keys — we never see them
Wuanberri's AI features use your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. You paste it into Settings, it is stored in your browser's local storage, and requests go directly from your browser to the provider over HTTPS. Our servers never receive, store, or proxy your key or your AI conversations.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by Square. We never see or store your card number — Square hosts the entire checkout. We receive only the subscription status needed to unlock Pro features (and, if you signed in with email, the email address attached to the subscription).
Optional accounts
If cloud sync is enabled, accounts are managed by Supabase (email + password). Supabase stores your auth record on our behalf under data-protection agreements. Study data is not uploaded unless you sign in with a synced account.
If you email us or subscribe to product updates, we use Brevo to send and manage email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We don't sell or share your address.
Deleting your data
Local data: clear site data in your browser. Account data: email info@wuanberri.com from the address on the account and we'll delete it. Billing data lives in Square under their own policies — cancelling the subscription stops all future charges.
