Dependent sources, source conversions, mesh and nodal analysis (ac)

When a network has several sources that are neither in series nor in parallel, block reduction stops working. Mesh and nodal analysis, which you already know for dc, take over unchanged except that every coefficient is complex. This topic also introduces dependent sources, the building blocks of every transistor and amplifier model.
