Muscle and nervous tissue
Every heartbeat, breath, step and thought depends on the two excitable tissues. Muscle turns electrical signals into movement and nervous tissue carries those signals, and the differences between their cell types explain why a cut nerve in the arm can regrow while a damaged spinal cord usually cannot.
